I'm Seiko, a Pittsburgh-based illustrator and surface pattern designer.
My whimsical, colorful, and playful illustration style is a natural fit for baby and kids products such as bibs, baby shoes, nursery art prints, and greeting cards.
Waku Waku Baby x Seiko Sisco debut collection is set to launch in Winter 2022.
PATTERN COLLECTIONS
I love to work in collections to tell a story through my pattern designs. Each story is inspired by my role as a mom to two creative and nature-loving kids and my daily adventures with them in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA and beyond. My collections are all about celebrating the magic of childhood and capturing the child's imagination and the world that they see.
My debut collection, Haru, captures of the magic of childhood in the spring season.
Come along on a neighborhood walk with us as we start seeing everyday objects in a new light. When the snow finally melts away and the sun starts warming the dirt, new colors, smells, and shapes start emerging from the earth. Through a child's eye an ordinary neighborhood walk around a familiar block brings new inspiration and excitement. Splashing in muddy puddles, touching worms, counting butterflies, smelling the flowers, planting seeds, waving hello to baby bunnies, dancing in the rain, and dreaming rainbows...These are just a few things on our spring bucket list.
